Boo ^^)
Celine stopped at the door of the tower, holding what remained of her belongings in a small bag and staring up at the tall tower. She let out a sad and long sigh before she glanced around once again. Celine felt nervous. First a crazy man walks into the village and slaughters everyone he sees... until he ran into Celine and decided to spare her life after she had unleashed some amazing weird powers. Then the survivors talked and now here she was. She gently pushed the door open and staggered inside, glancing around the place. "H-Hello?" She called, hearing her voice echo throughout the tower. She paused to see if she heard a reply back from anyone. She stepped into the tower and gently closed the door behind her.

"Yes?" came a voice in reply, and lurking in the shadows was a tall figure, whose eyes seemed to gleam red even in such dim lighting. Though she probably did not notice yet, he was an elf, which was usual cause for wonder since elves did not really hang about wizard towers. But here he was anyway, and he seemed to be the only one in the hall right now.

Celine let out a surprised gasp, but she recovered and let out a uncomfortable and shy laugh. "Hello. D-Do you know where the headmaster is? My name is Celine Bell, from the Village of Luna. And I guess I'll be here for awhile." She remembered the head of the village amazingly lived and wrote a letter to the Head Master. Then she ended up here. She tilted her head a bit and stared at the man. She had caught sight of something pointy. Was it ears? It probably was.

The boy chuckled softly. "The Headmaster is up the stairs there," he said, pointing to the end of the room where a small stairway spiraled up, tucked in the back. "All the way at the top is the observatory where he usually stays the majority of the day." He regarded her with a narrowed gaze. "So... the newcomer, hmm?"

"Y-Yes I am." She nodded, making her way towards the stairs. She however kept a eye on him. "The head of the village sent me here after Bax attacked us." She shivered a bit. That name... Bax. Why in the world did he spare here life? How did she make him spare her life? It was rather odd, a strange glowing aura surrounded her and basically pushed Bax and others away with a powerful force. She was still baffled by how she managed to accomplish such a feat.

"So I heard," the young man mused. "Your little display caused quite the stir around the tower. It would have been a pity if Bax had gotten at you first." But his voice had an odd sound to it that was anything but concerned or comforting.
The sound of heavy footfalls drew those red eyes from Celine to the stairway he had just mentioned before. And down came a young man in gray armor, looking grim and maybe a little bored. He paused when he caught sight of Celine, then he looked to the boy in the corner, then he entered the hall with them. "I thought you were going to be away."
"I was 'away'," the dark figure replied. "I returned a few hours ago." His eyes narrowed again, and he tilted his head slightly. "You seem overly pleased to see me."
"I came to take her to the Headmaster," the young man replied, gesturing at Celine with a gauntleted hand. "Why don't you go crawl back into your corner as usual and stop causing trouble?"
The elf boy glared at him, then pushed himself off of the wall he had been leaning on. He gave a respectful nod to Celine, then turned off down the hall. The armored boy followed him with his eyes, then once he was out of sight, looked back at Celine. "So you're the new girl? You're not exactly what I expected."

Celine winced a bit at his comment. "Well. I am not much. I'm just a village girl after all who apparently has odd powers." She shrugged her shoulders, feeling uncomfortable around this person because of the tone of his voice. "My name is Celine. Y-Your name is...?" She offered a hand to shake to him, forcing a smile.

He looked down at her hand, as if surprised it was there, then hesitantly took it, but he did not shake, just kind of held it awkwardly as if he did not quite know what to do with it. "I'm Kain Graystar," he introduced himself. "I am in charge of security around here, so if you see anything suspicious, just let me know." He let go of her hand, then jerked his thumb over his shoulder. "We should get going though. Don't want to keep the Headmaster waiting."

"Y-Yes." She nodded and began to follow him. "Um... who was that Elf Boy? I never got his name." He was a strange character already, giving her a strange vibe about his tone of his voice and how he had mentioned that "it would have been a pity". Was he being sarcastic? She didn't know, but this first day was already making her rather uncomfortable.

Kain looked back the way the said elf boy had slunk off to and made a slight grimace when he thought about it. "Him? Oh, he's Aeorlas Timue. I'm not entirely sure what he does, but there are plenty of rumors to get anyone on their guard." He looked back at Celine as he turned to the stairs. "I would stay as far away from him as you can. He's not a good person one iota."

Probably a good idea to take his advice at the moment, Aeorlas's tone was quite ominous. So she made a small nod before continuing onward, glancing around at the many interesting paintings and items scattered around the building. "S-So am I the only girl here right now?" She asked curiously. She had not seen any other girl here yet.

"Pretty much," Kain replied as he headed upstairs. The stairs were rather steep and winding, but the enclosure echoed enough that he could still be heard. "The only other female that comes around is Mindy, but she's just here to deliver supplies. If you need anything special, you'll have to pay her in advance. She comes by only on weekends though, so plan accordingly."

Celine nodded slowly and stumbled a slight bit as she tried to catch up with him. "I see." She said with a another nod. She glanced up at the ceiling as she watched it twirl along with the stairs. "Is the Headmaster nice?" She asked. Poor Celine, she was asking too many questions. Maybe she was just anxious.

Kain glanced over his shoulder only once to check that she was following, though the sound of her stumbling steps told him well enough where she was at. He continued his ascent as she rambled on. He gave a noncommittal half-shrug. "I suppose he is nice in his own way. He is very serious and strict about learning magic and keeping with our studies. Just follow orders and you'll do fine."
