Bax just watched her with a nondescript look on his face. If he cared, he surely did not seem to. But that was only to be expected from someone like Bax. When she finally finished, he laughed. Actually laughed. Cutting himself off, he looked at her with a grin. “That’s an awful lot of questions, and such a firm decision at the end there too.” He leaned forward. “I don’t think I’m inclined to answer any of those. Not that I would care if I hurt a guard or not. Such mindless, background characters are hardly worth my attention in this story called war. You should know this. And dark magic,” he said, his mouth twitching till it was slightly pulled into a grimace, “is the utmost vile thing I have ever come across in my life. Don’t amuse yourself with the thought that I would resort to such a decrepit art.” He was immediately back to smiling again. “As for Luna Village’s destruction, well, that’s something for myself to know about and myself alone. I always have my reasons though,” he glanced at Aeorlas, “oh yes, pretty elven boy, I always do. Don’t give me that judgmental look” He looked back at Celine. “Your village was a very necessary casualty in my campaign. Though, had I known you were there, I might not have been so hasty. It makes sense, in retrospect, almost ironically might I add, that the Luna Child of legend is from the Luna Village.” He folded his arms across his chest. “If I was seeking your forgiveness, I would have to be a fool. Obviously you won’t forgive me as the pain is too near and dear to you. But maybe, in time, you will see otherwise.”

Bax had pushed a few buttons with her to the point she was actually pretty pissed. In fact so pissed her aura started up again. Yep, she was on the verge of blowing something up if she wasn't going to get answers. But she calmed down at the mention of the "Luna Child". The aura died down and some of that anger faded into some form of morbid curiosity. But yeah his ego was way too much for her to handle. She just wanted to punch him so hard in the face. Instead of that, her face contorted into a creepy smile. "You know Lord Bax of wherever your origins may be, your ego trip is sure helping out the situation here of not keeping me from exploding this entire room." She said in a strangely creepy voice before it faded back into confusion. She had heard of the Luna Child before, rumors floated around her village for a very long time about that prophecy. However she didn't question it too much because she always thought of herself as a simple commoner who lived in a village literally worshiping the moon. However she let out another sigh. "... And what is this Luna Child? If you simply decided to destroy a village full of innocent people, might I add, and my last remaining family that you killed personally in front of my face, might I also add, is that really the reason you went on this rampage?" Celine looked down at her hands again, feeling uncomfortable once again. "... If so. If I am this 'Luna Child' you speak of. Why are you after me?"

Aeorlas looked at Celine worriedly when the aura started up, and the Headmaster looked ready to throw out some spells, but she calmed herself, and the tension at the table died down ever so slightly. But guards would still stay up. She was a bit of a loose cannon, to put it mildly. Bax looked at her with that same slight grin, sly and perhaps a little malicious, though it was hard to read behind it all that clearly. His intentions always seemed so convoluted. Even the Headmaster, who knew the most about anyone, was never quite sure what ran through Bax’s mind. Bax leaned back in his seat, arms still folded across his armor-plated chest, with pectoral muscles nicely lined in tight, tight leather and perfectly molded metal… wait what? AHEM. “The Luna Child prophecy,” he murmured, then made a rather dramatic gesture of turning his gaze to the Headmaster. “Should that not be your first order of business?” he queried. The Headmaster glared at the guest, obviously not pleased with being put in such a spot. “I was going to tell her when she was settled. She only arrived yesterday afternoon.” Bax rolled his eyes. “Mm, well, then how about I tell her all about it, since you would probably try bending it to your own propoganda.”

Celine was just about to facetable big time from this whole situation. She was going to break out into a rant on how people were not telling her important things. It was going to drive her insane by the end of the day. On the verge of pulling her hair out, Celine let out a sigh before she stated in an attempt to be calm. "Well... what is this prophecy that apparently I am?" She asked. "I've only merely heard rumors about that when I was a child back then..." She admitted after a moment, moving a bit in her seat. Celine was clearly getting anxious and scared about what this might mean for her in the future. "And why am I so important?" Was Bax really going around looking for this silly prophecy that had a 1% chance of even showing up? Not only that, was this prophet worth slaughtering for? Celine had noticed her power was quite strange, and it contained high powers and crazy explosions. Even with this guy and his ego trip attitude, she was going to have to listen what this idiot had to say.

Bax waved her off. “Now, now, now, settle down, precious. Let me take you back all the way to that long forgotten children’s story about good and evil, or more accurately, light and dark. You remember that story, don’t you?”
It was a rather simple tale. An angel of darkness stole all the life in the world to hide it for himself. But the creator of the world would not allow darkness such a pleasure. So the spirit of creation created light to shine on the world and return life to it. But the darkness was mad and went to the creator. The darkness said it was necessary to exist, to balance out the harsh light. So the creator gave to the darkness night, and the light, the creator made day. But the world was in constant terror of the darkness so the creator split the light into two beings the moon for the night and the sun for the day.
“You do know this story, right?”

Celine blinked in utter surprise. She did remember that story, it was a story she heard so many times when she was a child. She even began to retell the story to the younger members of the village. For some reason, she just loved the story, it made her curious to explore a bit more, but at the same time she didn't entirely know why she felt this personal connection with a silly story as such. "Yes I know it. I heard it a lot when I was a child." She gulped and looked up at Bax, not entirely sure what to say next. She was starting to make some connections. Two beings of light, one was the sun and the other was the moon. It was quite obvious that Celine was definitely that strange moon light being that was in the story. So... who was that sun person then? "But what does a simple story like that have to do with me exactly? I mean, I guess I can see one connection to why I might be involved but..." She trailed off, mostly talking to herself at this time. Poor Celine just couldn't entirely connect the dots yet, she had no idea who she even was anymore! By the time this ended, Celine had a feeling she was going to pull her hair out.

The Headmaster broke into the conversation, much to Bax’s great annoyance. “Seventeen years ago, a prophecy foretold the coming of the Lady of the Moon and the Lord of the Sun, and that they would meet on a field of battle to fight the darkness once again.” He rubbed his chin. “Unfortunately, we have not been able to prove this prophecy is true.” Bax looked from Celine to the Headmaster. “It should be obvious,” he said snidely. “Her powers, my powers. Is that not proof enough? Nevermind that the heavens have been out of joint since we were born, or that with our powers awakening, the moon and sun are fading. If that doesn’t convince you of anything, I don’t think anything will.” The Headmaster waved him off. “Now, now. Remember: there were more prophecies connected to this whole thing, not just that one. Too many prophecies to count. That is why we do not take all of them into account. Your determination to take Celine away and fight the darkness in some ritualistic matrimony over one prophecy is absurd, and that is why we will stop you.” “She’s not your property,” Bax growled. “No,” the Headmaster said, “and she’s not yours either. The prophecy does not allot you authority over anything, Bax, if it really was meant for you. There are other wizards coming to our attention with incredible powers, all your age, all born near you, all recognizing their abilities in the fading of the sun and moon. Why you are determined to go off to your ridiculous war over a series of coincidences… well, it’s nothing short of foolish.”

Soon something hit her like a rock in the head. Celine turned to the headmaster and then to her right arm. Her right arm was always hidden for some reason. One part of her was saying: "Oh my god what if...?" And another part of her mind was saying: "OH GOD WHY ME?". She tugged a bit on her sleeve to reveal her wrist. On it was a strange, tiny marking of a crescent moon. She remembered her aunt had pressured her to hide that arm no matter what kind of weather it may be. It was a big pain in the tush but eventually Celine got used to hiding her right arm. She turned to the both of them, gulping a sigh bit as she showed them the strange marking. "W-Well since a prophecy is being mentioned here... can someone explain this marking on my wrist? I've had this marking for as long as I can remember..." She bit her lip in anxiety. She hoped it was just merely a coincidence. Perhaps everyone in Luna had one... No. Then they would hide their arms. This was too confusing and nerve racking to her.

Box reached out and grabbed her wrist, holding it up to see the symbol better. "Hah! See: the marking!" The Headmaster was looking very suspicious now. "Seems a little coincidental." "Not at all," Bax said. "If there is one thing you cannot deny, it is this: the Lady of Moon and Lord of Sun will meet. On a battlefield or otherwise. And more than one prophecy cited the symbols that would mark them as the ones." He lifted his chin and tilted his head to the side. There was a strange symbol of a sun there, pulsing with red, gold, and black. He grinned and looked back at them normally. "Not even the greatest of wizards could fake these symbols. We are not cons. There are no coincidences. This is merely prophecy being realized."

Celine somewhat winced when he grabbed her wrist. WHY WAS HIS TOUCH SO... SO... ER.... She couldn't describe it. Rather odd to say it was rather a comforting and warm feeling. Soon all that nervousness seemed to leave her and she felt a bit relaxed. Why was this feeling coming in with the man who destroyed her entire village, slaughtered the majority of those she once knew, and had an ego that was so annoying and large that it could destroy the tower itself?! She didn't know, but right now she couldn't care less. Her gaze was on the strange sun mark her bore. And she actually wanted reach out to his face. But she held back, because that would be strange, and two he was a murderer. She was rather interested in this bit of a prophecy coming full circle... but WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE BAX?! Yet... it was rather interesting that it would be Bax who was this "Lord of Sun". "S-So... what happens if this prophecy goes full circle?" She asked, feeling awkward and stupid.

The Headmaster was staring at them both in something of shock. Even the cool and collected Aeorlas seemed very uneasy at this revelation. At Celine's question, the Headmaster said, "that is what made the prophecies so strange," he said. "They all speak of the Lady of the Moon and Lord of the Sun, but none of them actually say what will culminate from their meeting, whether war or destruction or creation." "It is a battlefield they will meet on," Aeorlas said lowly. "So naturally, many assume it will be war." "Hence my army," Bax said. "If it is a war my fair maiden wants, it is a war she will get." He gave Celine a wink, then looked back at the others, finally releasing Celine's wrist. "But, I can see that a lost must be... decided." He stood up from his seat abruptly. Aeorlas flinched. "I will depart from you, for now," Bax said. "But I will be expecting another meeting with Celine soon. And none of you can hope to keep me from my destiny." He left them there in their hall, his mage attendee in tow. The Headmaster watched his back before he too stood up from the table. "I'm sorry this all happened, Miss Bell," he said seriously. "I had hoped to reveal all these things to you in a... calmer manner." He shot a look at the door where the former figure of Bax had disappeared.

Celine looked forward, dumbfounded and confused. She lowered her gaze to look at her wrist before she hid it once more. Honestly she didn't want Bax to leave. With a shaky sigh she flashed the both of them an uncomfortable and shaky sigh. "N-No need to worry..." She said to them. "I guess we really didn't really expect how much of this c-could happen. I mean... It's shocking but..." Suddenly Celine found herself whimpering and curling up, feeling pathetic. She felt so isolated now, she just thought she was a strong person with weird magic that would eventually sort itself out. But she was a prophet. "... Oh forgive me." She said, wiping away tears and sniffling. "I-I'm just overwhelmed... I should just take it easy for the day. Rest. All of that." She just broke down in to sobs, stressed out and suddenly lonely.

Aeorlas stood up and rested a hand on Celine’s shoulder, but he was looking at the Headmaster, whom he was addressing. “I will take her back to her room.” The Headmaster nodded. “Yes… and I will have a guard posted there as well. Who knows what Bax is plotting. We will need to all be extra cautious.” He then said something quickly and urgently to the other wizard with them. The man nodded and hurried out of the room. Eventually the Headmaster followed, and it was just Aeorlas and Celine now, his hand still resting on her shoulder. “Miss Bell,” he said gently, “do you want to go to your room?” He was also wondering about Ferris and Kain. He hadn’t actually sent anyone to check on them yet, and who knew how they were doing now. Ferris was still shaken up from the explosion, not that he would tell Celine, and Kain, well, who knew. A healer said they would be up there soon to tend to him, but Aeorlas never really trusted things to get done unless he did them himself. So naturally, he was doubtful that Kain was being treated at all. He quelled these thoughts quite well though, just watching Celine with his usually calm composure.

Celine flinched slightly when her shoulder was touched. "... Yes please." She sniffled, slowly standing up and shaking. She rubbed her arms and sighed. She wobbled out of the room, sniffling and crying still. "I'm sorry this is just overwhelming and shocking. I... I feel so isolated." She didn't want to be this special. It was nice to be special but not this special. She took a few breaths before she calmed down and continued out towards her room. She needed a moment to herself to think things over before she could talk with anyone. There was no doubt that some people were going to get very protective of her, and that made her feel at ease, yet at the same time why did she deserve all of this attention? Not that she hated, but she was just surprised. So Celine walked along, looking over at Aeorlas for a moment.

Aeorlas walked with her back to the stairwells, eyes forward. But sensing she was watching him, he looked back down at her. "You'll be alright, Miss Bell," he said in as comforting a voice as he could muster. Like Kain, he was not the best at it. If anything, it was just hard for him to sound genuine. And as such, who knew if he really did care. The sound of someone running up behind them drew Aeorlas' attention and he stopped and turned around. Coming down the hall was Cursia, but he froze in place when he saw Aeorlas, ducking his head slightly to look up at them through the hair that feel across his face. "Uh... um..." "What is it?" Aeorlas asked, his voice taking on that strangely sweet tone. Cursia put his hands behind his back slowly. "Wh-what was all that about?" he asked, looking worriedly at Celine. "I heard that... that um... Bax was... uh... was here..." "That's right," Aeorlas replied, taking a step forward. Cursia took one back. Aeorlas grinned for a moment before it vanished. "Bax was here, but now he is gone. Where are you supposed to be right now?" "U-um, I don't know," Cursia murmured, still looking at Celine with that wide-eyed expression. "Um, I think certain classes and things were... cancelled..."
